According to NIRF, University of Hyderabad is ranked 4th in 2019 among all the institutes in India and in the same year the university received the status of “Institution of Eminence”. The university has gained Category -1 autonomy due to which they can tweak with the curriculum and provide up to date education. Established in 1994, University of Hyderabad is among the oldest institutes that offers education via distance mode. Currently the University is offering 16 Diploma Courses and it started with 2 Diploma programs. These programs are recognized by the joint committee of UGC-AICTE-DEB.
